The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30 - 37) gives a clear picture of God's desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, "Go and do likewise." At Grace Chapel we believe it is part of our mission to follow Christ's command and partner with Him in service to those in our community and the community of our online family. Our goal is to reach hurting people with food, medicine, other assistance and God's love in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, opens the door for us to share the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
But serving also does something else... When we serve we grow in the likeness of Jesus and we put ourselves into a place where we can see God do amazing things in our lives and the lives of those around us.

We are looking for people who want to be a part of the church family as a volunteer. No experience needed... we give on the job training. One of our challenges as a church is how to focus not on what the church needs from volunteers, but rather, what the volunteers need from the church. We are committed to helping YOU find the God-given gifts and passions that make you a unique part of the family. Our desire is that our volunteers play an important role in our mission of bringing others into a relationship with Christ. You matter to the church and it is our desire to find the perfect place for you to serve here at Grace Chapel.

Serving on Sunday at Grace Chapel
Hospitality Team - Greeting people as they arrive to worship. Just a smile and a friendly face. YOU are the first impression people have of Grace Chapel
Media Team - Working the cameras, computers or soundboard. This team ensures quality and professional worship to those in the sanctuary as well as online.
Music Team - Can you sing... play an instrument... or just make a beautiful noise? Use your talents to lead others in worship.
Children's Ministry Team - Every Sunday we offer age appropriate worship/learning to our children. Come be a part of the team that is molding the future of our church.
Sunday School Teachers - Do you enjoy teaching? Do you love to study and impart knowledge... watching people grow in their faith? We are always looking to find start new classes to help our people in their faith journey... come join us.
Serving throughout the week at Grace Chapel
We have many opportunities where you can make a difference during the week as well:
Card Ministry Team - We love to love on people. If you enjoy "sending a smile" through the mail to those who are in the hospital or unable to join us in person the Grace Chapel Card Ministry is a perfect place for you to serve. We furnish the cards and stamps... you bring the smile.
Prayer Team - Jesus tells us that there is amazing power in prayer and that we are to pray for each. Our prayer team is a network of prayer warriors who keep in contact via email, FaceBook, Messenger and in person to ensure that our people and community is bathed in prayer. And we would love to welcome you to the team.
Guest Follow-up - Every Guest to Grace Chapel is a precious blessing. Our goal is to share God's love with everyone who comes to "take a look" on Sunday morning. Along with our Pastor the Guest Follow-up team ensures that our guests receive a card (from Pastor, Lay Leader, and Follow-up team) along with being there to answer any questions they might have about Grace Chapel or our community.
Outreach Team - We LOVE Jesus... and we LOVE our community. Our Outreach Team is always planning some sort of Spirit-led... fun-filled event to reach out and share. God's love with our neighbors. From the live Nativity Scene in the park (complete with camels, donkeys, and critters) to the live Easter pageant (Not to mention Trunk-or-Treat and many, many others) our Outreach Team is always looking for those who like to have fun... work hard... and share Jesus with others. Come be a part of this amazing ministry team.
women of grace
Women of Grace group is all about missions of women & children, community, prayer, Bible study, fellowship & sometimes there’s food! Some of our missions are Caldwell Pregnancy Care Center, the Womens Shelter Home of Caldwell County, Bethel Colony of Mercy-Womens Campus, CCDSS Family Builders Foster Care, and others. So if you are interested in being a part of our women’s ministry, we would love to have you join us. We have two women’s circle meeting times, a day circle and a evening circle, that each meet monthly. We hope one of these will work for you, as all women are welcome!
